Homeopathy is a system of alternative medicine which involves treating the individual with highly diluted substances, given mainly in tablet form, with the aim of triggering the body’s natural system of healing.
Homeopathy works on the principle that 'like can treat like'. For example if a substance when taken in large doses can cause adverse symptoms, the same substance can treat the very same symptoms when administered in a hugely diluted form.
A homeopath will conduct a thorough consultation and will choose the most appropriate remedy based on each individual's symptoms.
